This is an Oil on Canvas piece based on a memory from Half Moon Bay, California. I am mainly a photo-based painter, and I like to recover memories. I take photos and recreate them with the vivid colors and hazy atmospheres that I remember, but are lost in the photo. I think of it as repainting some of the life back into the moment.
