This was an evening stroll through the meadows close to the Bischofssee / Schleswig-Holstein / Germany. An evening in late summer, quite chilly but clear. Only some long clouds and behind them the sun turning orange. A very precious moment.
I did the painting in a very intuitive way. My aim was to show the short moment when everything turns colourful before darkness sets.
