This piece was completed in May and June of 2020. The view is of my neighbors backyard, left unruly by our gardeners absence. The pandemic was in full swing and (partially thanks to being freshly unemployed) I finally had the free time and space to work every day on a single plein air piece! I developed this painting for 3 hours every morning that it was sunny, (which thankfully is most days in the Bayview District of San Francisco), for about 7 weeks.
