Releasing the Chains of Conformity

For this painting, I wanted to capture my model's uniqueness and his desire to go against societal norms. We decided to apply a charcoal smudge on his eyes to give the image a punk feel. The tattoos and the thigh-high boots also add to the feeling. I intentionally lit my model as shown to add more tension to the final image.
